Musings of a Mid-Twenties Lady

If there is one thing I’ve learned in my twenty-something years, that would be nothing is constant but change.

People change.
Emotions change.
Situations change.
FB statuses change.
Relationships change.
Trends change.

Everything changes.

You have to learn to keep up or you’d be left behind
and sometimes,
even if you don’t want to,
you get tired.

You get so caught up of everything,
you feel like drowning,
like you’ve ran out of drive,
like everything feels so disconnected,
like you can’t keep up anymore,
like it’s too much,
like all you want is a breather and you can’t even get that,
like you know you’ve been missing out on important things but you can’t even point it out because other immediate things keep popping up,
like you know you have to do this and that, but you can’t,
like life happened and you don’t even get a say to it.

Am I making sense?

Life, at times, sucks.

    I feel you. 😐

I can relate the most to that “missing out on important things but you can’t even point it out because other immediate things keep popping up”. I’ve got a lot of things in my to-do list that I never get to accomplish because new things keep on stacking up on them. *sigh*
